HR Courses
A couple of weeks ago, I asked People folks to recommend me
In addition, I discovered that people sometimes need help understanding the difference between HR analytics as a profession (๐ฟ๐ฒ๐๐ธ๐ถ๐น๐น๐ถ๐ป๐ด) and HR analytics skills among People folks (๐๐ฝ๐๐ธ๐ถ๐น๐น๐ถ๐ป๐ด).
Well, letโs try to figure it out โ
๏ฟญ Courseraโs โPeople Analyticsโ by the University of Pennsylvania is highly rated and covers a wide range of topics, including regression;
๏ฟญ LinkedIn Learningโs โHR Data Analyticsโ is more Excel-focused;
๏ฟญ edXโs โPeople Analyticsโ by the University of California, Irvine: Another solid option that delves into data-driven decision-making;
๏ฟญ AIHR โPeople Analyticsโ.
๐ฎ/ โ๐๐๐๐ต๐ผ๐ฟ ๐๐ผ๐ถ๐ฐ๐ฒโ (as I call it)
๏ฟญ Jessica Z.โs โPeople Ops as a Productโ includes interesting ELTV:ECAC is useful for getting a general pulse on ROI on People initiatives.
๏ฟญ Matthew Lernerโs โGrowth Leversโ (playbook/guide) and the Growth Hacking approach created by Sean Ellis more broadly inspire People teams to select a single core growth metric (the ๐ก๐ฆ๐ โ ๐ก๐ผ๐ฟ๐๐ต ๐ฆ๐๐ฎ๐ฟ ๐ ๐ฒ๐๐ฟ๐ถ๐ฐ) and then identify โleversโ to pull and supplementary metrics that contribute to that top-line metric.
Megan Trotter has recently done some cool work on using NSMs in People teams. You can find more info about the NSM framework in her post here: https://lnkd.in/daWpYuaT.
Thanks to my favorite communities People Stories, Leapsomeโs People Over Perks, (TTC) The Talent Community, and Sapien หฃ for your help and tips ๐
