HR Admin/People Ops CV Tips
🔍 Currently reviewing resumes for an HR Admin/People Ops position and wanted to share some tips that helped me personally when I was on the job hunt in this field:
1️⃣ Keep your resume to one page (trim irrelevant positions, focus on the last 10 years of experience).
2️⃣ Incorporate numbers and metrics using the XYZ framework. For instance, “Improved technical onboarding to reduce turnover among developers by 10%”.
3️⃣ Highlight the programs/platforms you’re familiar with separately, such as HiBob, Humaans, BambooHR, Deel, Recruitee, etc.
4️⃣ Tailor your CV slightly for each position. If you were an HRBP but applying for a People Ops role, specify how your previous experience aligns with the sought-after position.
5️⃣ Remember to include a few words about yourself and your motivation. This is crucial for recruiters and hiring managers alike.
